Sean Clairine

Meet the Founder

Sean founded Generation Motivation his sophomore year of high school at 15.

Sean noticed a trend in his community; most activities came at a cost or some sort of sacrifice. Whether that was in his school or out of school, Sean believed that high price tags can be discouraging to most, causing youth to miss out on opportunities that could benefit their growth as a character or their experiences.

In his research, Sean stumbled upon more causes in his findings. He was able to link together mental illness and poverty in youths and discouragement. He found various cause-and-effect ties between low-income households, crime, relationships with friends and family, and education rates.

After many revisions, Sean Clairine founded Generation Motivation in September of his sophomore year. He has dedicated his time to conducting research and starting a nonprofit on his own, of course with the encouragement of his friends and family. With the help of his mom, he legally registered Generation Motivation Inc. with New York state. Sean had worked tirelessly to continue Generation Motivation because he did not want to continue in the message that only certain kids can succeed in life, and low-income kids can be somebody too.

You can be somebody too.
